YANCHEP’S Y.hub is hosting a Small Business Development Corporation ‘Starting a Business’ workshop free of charge for those looking to start or improve their small business ideas.
As part the Business Spark development program, the free workshop will start 10am on Saturday, September 22.
It will introduce participants to the first steps in establishing a small business; from an initial assessment – which looks at their suitability to run a business – to financing a business idea and identifying sales opportunities.
There is also a ‘Dapper design for small business’ workshop scheduled for Thursday, September 20 from 6pm, where participants can learn to create professional social media graphics free of charge.
“We are working with key partners to support local residents who’d like to develop their skills and knowledge,” Y.hub manager Paul Leone said.
“Business Spark is for anyone who wants to know more about business or master technologies underlying the ecosystem.”
