Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

UKWA Radio started broadcasting in 2014, and has spread to improve coverage in the northern suburbs, with listeners in Butler, Clarkson, Mindarie, Quinns, Burns Beach and Kinross able to tune in at 87.8FM.

Also available online and at mine sites through the Swift Entertainment System, program director Jonathan Morrell said they had been amazed by the response, with more than 50,000 listeners a week.

“It’s been a year of finding out what people want and they have told us it is the songs that were UK hits but didn’t make it here in Australia,” he said.
