Alkimos restaurant Oceans 27 to open in December

A SECOND dining venue overlooking the Alkimos wreck is due to open in mid-December.

The Shore Cafe owner George Bartell said the restaurant expansion, which will be called Oceans 27, would officially open on December 15.

Mr Bartell said the restaurant would accommodate about 200 people and there would be a range of craft beers on offer with 12 taps at the bar as well as garden seating.

He said the existing cafe, which opened in 2016, would have a health food focus, including gluten free and vegan options.

The extension at Waterfront Park also houses the Shorehaven estate sales office.
