VISUAL artist Phil Doncon visited Quinns Rocks Primary School this month to brush up a paint storm.
The WA artist gave a live painting performance at the school on August 11, entertaining students by combining brushstrokes, dance and gymnastics.
Teacher David Fernandez said the children enjoyed the hour-and-a-half long supercharged performance.
Its full of humour; it has a poignant message of resilience and creativity, he said.
It introduces art as a medium of expressing feeling.
The students responded extremely well; they were just mesmerised.
They were always looking forward and thinking and responding to his questions; they were trying to predict what he was going to paint next.
Mr Fernandez said it was Doncons third visit to the school and he was keen to have Paint Storm return again.
