THIRTEEN people have escaped injury after a horror crash between a Toyota Corolla and a mini bus on Indian Ocean Drive last month.
The crash occurred last Tuesday September 25 about 4.15pm in Nilgen, a few kilometres north of Lancelin.
The driver of a Toyota Corolla was travelling north and attempted to overtake a camper van.
At the same time a Mitsubishi mini bus was approaching in the opposite direction and the two vehicles collided.
The rescue helicopter and ambulances were sent.
Incredibly there were no serious injuries to the occupants of the Corolla, a 26-year-old female driver and two passengers aged in their 50s.
The most serious injury suffered by the 10 passengers on the mini bus was a bump on the head.
Police said the crash was “simply a case of the wrong decision at the wrong time”.
