2017 Perth firefighters calendar: Clarkson hunk sizzles in October

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

A CLARKSON resident has bared his torso in Perth’s hottest calendar – the 2017 Perth Firefighters Calendar – to fundraise for burns victims.

Scott Bullock, who is based at Ellenbrook fire station, features as the calendar’s October poster boy, alongside Darch resident Josh Caddy, who is based at Perth fire station.

The pair joined 13 other Perth firefighters in the fundraising calendar for the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation (formerly PMH Foundation).

For Mr Bullock, the chance to take part in the calendar and support the cause was an offer too good to turn down.

“I was in and out of PMH as a child, and now that I have a six-month-old child I better understand the need for upgrading and obtaining better equipment for the treatment of children,” he said.

“It’s been an unbelievable experience to contribute to such a wonderful cause.”

Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation Denys Pearce said proceeds from the calendar would go towards supporting research and equipment at the burns unit, which treats thousands of WA children each year.

“Over the past nine years, our partnership with the Perth Firefighters Calendar has helped raise more than $850,000,” he said.

The calendar is available for $15 from the volunteer’s kiosk at PMH, or online at www.pchf.org.au.
