The Quinns Rocks Environmental Group will host the Bike Week event, led by coast carer and cycle coach Mike Norman.

“On this leisurely 4.5km ride we will look at places of interest and finish with a light morning tea,” spokesman David Wake said.

“It should be a great way to be outdoors and mark Bike Week in our community.”

The March 19 ride will start at 8am at Rosslare Park, Mindarie, with participants pedalling through Quinns Rocks to Jindalee on the coastal path.

Mr Norman is also an accredited cycling coach and said he would first give advice on adjusting bikes.

“We will go through a few safety tips, then we will go on the ride and we will be discussing coast care matters,” he said.
