WORK starts next week to install a universally accessible toilet and storeroom at the library in Two Rocks.
The works are part of a City of Wanneroo program to upgrade public amenities and are expected to take at least five weeks, starting May 21.
The library in the Phil Renkin Recreation Centre will remain open, however the children’s area will be cordoned off for safety reasons.
That will affect children’s programs and events, including It’s All About Play, which will be put on hold or relocated to other parts of the centre.
According to the City, there will be significant noise and dust, particularly during the first week.
