From a Funky Fossils session (Yanchep), Coder Dojo workshop (Alkimos) and Epic Easter Eggstravaganza (Clarkson) last Thursday to the Make and Take Art workshop (Wanneroo) last Friday, there was plenty on offer for those chasing entertainment over the April break.
At the Yanchep National Park, children were able to take a journey back in time to the days of the earliest marine life and discover how tiny animals became trapped forever in limestone museums.
Participants got to create their own replica fossil to take home.
The Eggstravaganza was an afternoon of Easter-themed activities, food, games and prizes at the Clarkson Youth Centre.
Those taking part in the Coder Dojo workshop were able to make apps, websites, games and play with robotics at Escarpment Park.
Children with a love for art were encouraged to make their own pieces from recycled materials at the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre.
