Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

AN Alkimos estate sales office moved this month to make space for a commercial development.

LWP Property Group’s Trinity land sales and information office used to perch on the corner of Marmion Avenue and Santorini Promenade, overlooking the Unity sculpture.

On September 5, the transportable building was trucked off site and relocated temporarily to Trethowan Promenade in the display village.

The move makes space for construction of the $17.5 million Trinity Village Centre, which will include a Coles supermarket, liquor store, seven shops, a recreation centre, a medical centre, pharmacy, child care centre and convenience store.

It will be the first commercial centre within the 226ha estate.
