Alkimos home invasion: second person charged over machete attack

A YOUNG woman is the second person police have charged over an Alkimos home invasion in which a man was seriously assaulted with a machete.

Police allege the Kingsley woman (20) broke into the home with a 28-year-old Gosnells man on January 22.

A 21-year-old resident received serious injuries to his hand and back.

Investigators this week charged the woman with aggravated burglary, aggravated armed assault, grievous bodily harm and an act or omission causing bodily harm.
