Anti-fluoride talk draws crowd

ABOUT 25 people attended an anti-fluoride meeting in Yanchep this month, according to the founder of Perth Fluoride Free.

James Fairbairn, who screened a documentary on the history of fluoride, spoke about research into the potential health effects of water fluoridation.

He said residents asked how they could get fluoride out of their drinking water if the Health Minister decided it was necessary to fluoridate the water supply.

He said he was also asked where fluoride came from and why it mattered if someone drank more fluoridated water than normal.
