Appeal for help to find wheelchair

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

Karen Matthews said the wheelchair went missing from outside her front door on Buffet Ramble overnight between May 11 and 12.

Ms Matthews said it had an apple-green frame, hospital identification and her name on it, so initially she had hoped it would be returned.

"It's very noticeable, with a black cushion and seat," she said.

"It's a specialised wheelchair."

Ms Matthews said had been given the wheelchair about five years ago and had been struggling to get about using her walking frame since it went missing.

"Im not very strong and my legs don't function properly," she said.

"Im able to walk in the house, but when I leave the house I need the wheelchair for support."
