Arson squad investigating house fire in Zamia Rise Yanchep

ARSON Squad detectives have asked for help from the public in their investigation into a house fire in Yanchep yesterday.

Emergency services received a call about the fire at a Zamia Rise house about 10.05am on March 1.

WA Police spokeswoman Susan Usher said the home was unoccupied at the time

“Arson Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the cause of the fire,” she said.

“The fire cause significant damage to the house with an estimated cost of $400,000.

“Investigators would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Zamia Rise between 9.30am and 10:30am who saw any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles in the area.”
