VOLUNTEERS at a Yanchep aged care facility were thanked for their efforts this month.

Bethanie Beachside held a ‘Happy Hour’ event as part of National Volunteer Week, which runs from May 9 to 15, and six volunteers attended, along with more than 45 residents.

The facility currently has about 20 volunteers who help with the therapy program including church services, arts and craft groups, wheelchair walks, social visits and pet therapy.
