THE Two Rocks Yanchep Assisted Cancer Travels group recently visited a Yanchep retirement village, where it received several handmade rugs.
Bethanie Beachside lifestyle co-ordinator Melanie Waldron said the village’s art and craft group gave the charity colourful crocheted knee rugs to keep clients warm on their way to oncology appointments.
TRYACT co-founder Sue Dash said the rugs were “greatly appreciated” ahead of winter.
