Bistel Construction wins $2.15 million contract to build Yanchep clubrooms

THE City of Wanneroo has awarded Bistel Construction the $2.15 million contract to build a sports amenities building at Yanchep playing fields.

Chief executive Daniel Simms awarded the tender under delegated authority on January 20, with the building company ranking highest of nine tenders submitted late last year.

The council had allocated a total of $3.4 million for the project, and a report on the February 7 council meeting agenda indicated it could come in $500,000 under budget.
