Black spots identified for shared funding

Staff have recommended the council endorse submissions for $1.87 million from the Federal Government and $1.313 million from the State Government for projects including the Marmion Avenue and Quinns Road junction in Quinns Rocks and the Hester Avenue and Connolly Drive roundabout.

Two Clarkson intersections on Ocean Keys Boulevard, where it crosses Pensacola Terrace and Key Largo Drive, were also included, as was the Hester Avenue and Renshaw Boulevard junction.

The City is also seeking funds for a second stage of work on Old Yanchep Road in Pinjar, to realign it to cater for the 80km/h speed limit.
