Blake’s a law unto himself

The Year 11 student is studying the Year 12 course this year and gave up his school holidays to complete work experience in the electorate office of retiring Moore MHR Mal Washer.

The 15-year-old said despite its sometimes poor reputation, politics was a way to have a positive influence on society.

‘I have learnt that working in politics you have to have a diverse range of skills to deal with everyday tasks and effective communication is essential to the functionality of politics,’ he said.
