Last month, Wanneroo City Council unanimously agreed to note the City had received approval from the WA Planning Commission to alter the boardwalk as required by a State Administrative Tribunal order.
It also agreed to build a stone-pitched embankment where the path would meet the lowered boardwalk.
At last week’s Two Rocks Yanchep Residents Association meeting, its president said the City had confirmed work would start in April.
