Boat ramp remains closed

Work to upgrade the boat ramp and seawall started in October, and was expected to finish by November 12.

However, marina manager Shane Lindsay this week issued a notice to boat users that the ramp would remain closed until December 3.

‘Trucks and heavy machinery will be operating in the area during the works,’ he said. ‘Members of the public are reminded to stay well away from the construction activities.’
