Transport services managing director Nina Lyhne said the videos provided information on how to get a WA driver’s licence, proof of identity, sitting a driving test and how to buy or sell a vehicle.

‘It is a necessary service to provide our customers as WA is the most culturally diverse state in Australia, with migrants constituting 27 per cent of the population,’ she said.

The videos were translated into 10 languages as well as Auslan.

Edmund Rice Centre Mirrabooka director Stephen Bowman said this service would benefit participants in its government funded driver education program. He said it would enhance people’s understanding and ability to gain a driver’s licence and be competent drivers.
