Satterley’s Brighton estate manager Heinz Pfenninger said plans for the 45ha Brighton district centre included a medical centre and shopping centre.
‘A major medical centre is planned for Butler Boulevard, including a physio, X-ray and pharmacy,’ he said.
‘There is a tavern planned plus the Brighton Market Place which will include Woolworths, Big W, Dan Murphy’s, more than 50 specialty stores and the recently opened Masters Home Improvement.’
Mr Pfenninger said Snap Fitness, PetStock and Living Emporium had already opened on the Masters site.
‘All of the commercial sites along Butler Boulevard have been sold,’ he said.
‘Some future service industry sites will be coming on the market soon, ranging between 1000sqm and 2000sqm.’
Plans for the Brighton Market Place, yet to be considered by the North West Metropolitan Development Assessment Panel, indicate it could include a department store, supermarket, shop, bakery, bank, beauty parlour, childcare centre, hairdresser, laundromat, liquor store, lunch bar, market, medical centre, pharmacy, restaurant, take-away outlet, tavern and video hire.
