Building new homes and new friendships

Hosted by Peet Limited, the Yanchep Golf Estate event brought together about 60 future neighbours at the Sun City Country Club.

After a morning filled with introductions and shared experiences, mums, dads and children sought out their new blocks to take creative selfies and place ‘sold’ stickers on their lot signs for a chance to win a $200 Visa voucher.

Richard Pyke, his wife Lynn and daughters Abigail (11) and Ruby (9) said the event provided an opportunity to meet their future neighbours.

‘We’ve already exchanged contact details with our closest neighbours, and have agreed to keep in touch as we each go through the building process,’ Mr Pyke said. The couple is planning to build a single-storey, four-bedroom, two-bathroom house on their 565sq m block.
