HIP-hop artist Fatman Scoop included a Butler school while in Perth for the Australian tour of R&B Fridays Live last month.

Irene McCormack Catholic College students enjoyed meeting the artist, whose off-stage name is Isaac Freeman III, when he visited on November 21, a day after performing at Perth oval.

“The afternoon was very exciting and students thoroughly enjoyed meeting an international artist at the college,” head of performing arts Kylie Malam said.

Students had a question and answer session where Fatman Scoop talked about the music industry, how he got started and artists he has worked with over the years.

Students performed their music for him, including a Year 8 specialist music group who performed a piece it has been working on in clas.
