Butler: Police allege drink driving the cause of car vs tree crash

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

POLICE say drink driving was the cause when a ute crashed into a tree on Marmion Avenue on Sunday night.

A 33-year-old man suffered a head injury and lost his licence as a result of the single-vehicle crash, which took place about 10.40pm on August 14 north of the Lukin Drive roundabout in Butler.

St John Ambulance took the man to Joondalup Health Campus for treatment for a head injury, and, following his release, police charged him in relation to drink driving.
