The Irene McCormack Hurricanes cheerleading team, twisters stunt group and lyrical dance team all placed in the top two in their sections.

“I am extremely proud of the dancers and their amazing performance at Aussie Gold,” teacher Sinead Harte said.

“Seeing their reaction when they won scholastic grand champions was such a beautiful moment as they were so humble and unassuming.

“I cannot be prouder of the way the students performed and am so excited for their next competition at the ATC Competition in September.”

All competition teams and Year 8-12 dance class students, will perform their dances at the college annual dance night on September 25.
