Call for witnesses of crash that left passenger in critical condition

WA Police Acting Sergeant Barbara Crane said a gold Holden Statesman sedan was travelling south on Indian Ocean Drive 200m north of Smokebush Road about 3.10am on June 21.

"The vehicle collided with a tree and the front passenger, an 18-year-old Balcatta man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment," she said. "The driver, an 18-year-old man from Tapping was uninjured."

Sgt Crane said major crash investigators wanted to speak with anyone who saw the crash or the car before the crash. Witnesses can call the Crime Stoppers hotline on 1800 333 000.
