Calling music lovers for group

Beginners and experienced players are welcome on the last Friday of the month, 7pm to 9pm, to learn, play and socialise in the alfresco area.

‘The ukulele, invented in Hawaii in 1879, is a wonderful instrument for all ages and music levels,’ ukulele teacher Joydie said.

‘It’s an easy instrument to learn.

‘You can attend without owning or ever having picked up any musical instrument.’

The group’s first meeting is Friday, February 28.
