Carabooda: man in intensive care after car hits tree

Staff ReporterNorth Coast Times

A MAN was seriously injured when the car he was driving struck a tree and became entangled in a wire fence in Carabooda, north of Perth, yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said the 46-year-old victim was travelling west in a gold Toyota Camry on Old Yanchep Road when he failed to negotiate a left hand bend about 4.40am.

“The Toyota left the road and hit a tree then a wire fence, trapping the driver in the vehicle,” she said.

The man remains in the intensive care unit in Royal Perth Hospital.
