Christmas Carols in Waterfront Park

Lucy JarvisNorth Coast Times

The sound of favourite carols floated over Waterfront Park as the sun set in a fiery ball over the ocean and people enjoyed picnics.

The free event, organised by Shorehaven estate developer Peet, had been scheduled for early December but was postponed due to a poor weather forecast.

St James Anglican Church helped run the event, with the Free Spirit Choir leading the carols, and Santa arrived in a fire truck thanks to Yanchep Volunteer Fire and Rescue Service.

Butler resident Jo Watson said her children Rocco (8) and Lola (3) enjoyed getting their faces painted and making Christmas ornaments for the tree.
