THE weather forecast may be mild, but the atmosphere is expected to heat up when The Marina, Mindarie hosts its annual Chilli Fest this weekend.
The free event from noon to 5pm on Saturday, February 23 will feature chilli street food stalls, roving entertainment, a chilli eating competition at The Boat from 3.45pm, market stalls and free children’s activities in the kids zone until 4pm.
There will also be live music at both The Indi and The Boat, and a DJ on the boardwalk.
To continue the flavour of the event, spicy Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute Band, Sweet Surrender, will perform at The Boat from 9pm.
