AN indoor mini golf course featuring glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs opened in Merriwa recently.

Chillisaurus Mini Golf manager Drew Portarianos said everyone who had visited the centre since it opened on January 30 had “loved it”.

“It’s an 18-hole mini golf course that’s completely dinosaur-themed,” he said.

“Everything glows, including the balls and putters.”

Mr Portarianos said the centre catered for all ages, with facilities that included a cafe, free locker hire and a party room expected to open later this month.

Goodstart Merriwa children visited the Chillisaurus Mini Golf centre before it opened to the public.

Children from Goodstart Merriwa had a sneak peek of the Hughie Edwards Drive venue last month.

Centre director Natasha Browne said there were “squeals of delights” as children sized themselves up against “the enormous T-rex and stegosaurus”.

It is open Tuesdays to Sundays. For more information, call 6108 4464.
