City of Wanneroo rewards early rate payers

RESIDENTS who paid their rates on time have been rewarded by the City of Wanneroo.

Eleven people have shared in more than $15,000 in prizes, including a $5000 holiday voucher, $2000 shopping spree at Ocean Keys Shopping Centre and a Rottnest Island package worth more than $2000.

Mayor Tracey Roberts congratulated winners at a function recently.

“The Race in Your Rates competition provides a wonderful opportunity to thank our residents for paying their rates on time,” she said.

“This generates funds for capital works programs and critical infrastructure that will benefit not only the residents of today, but also those in the future.”
