YANCHEP and Two Rocks residents can access City of Wanneroo services closer to home.

Staff have started working at the Yanchep Two Rocks Access Centre (YTRAC) on Yanchep Beach Road, ahead of its official launch early next year.

The City is leasing the office space above the Y.hub co-working space from developer Yanchep Beach Joint Venture.

The City of Wanneroo will offer services from the Yanchep Two Rocks Access Centre (YTRAC) at Y.hub.

Planning and building surveying services are available at YTRAC, allowing local residents to submit applications or pose queries regarding development approvals without having to drive to the Wanneroo Civic Centre.

Parks and conservation services team members are also based there, and the facility will allow for a range of other services such as rangers to operate in the Yanchep area, maintaining City facilities and delivering localised projects.

The centre’s initial opening hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30am to 4pm, or by appointment.

Mayor Tracey Roberts, who plans to hold regular ‘meet the mayor’ sessions at the centre, said it was important the City catered to the growing population in Yanchep, Two Rocks and surrounding areas.

“The City’s commitment to operating services from YTRAC is part of our place-based approach to meeting specific community needs, and this will continue to evolve over the coming months and years,” she said.
