ONLINE safety will be on the agenda at parenting workshops in Wanneroo and Yanchep this month.

The City of Wanneroo will deliver a series of free workshops for parents and carers, covering a range of topics.

The first theme is online safety, with two workshops presented by the eSafety Commissioner’s office on August 30 and 31.

Participants can learn how young people are typically using social media and technology at each age and the latest information on apps children are using.

The presentations will include information on how to make a complaint about cyber-bullying and getting inappropriate content removed.

The August 30 workshop will run from 5pm to 7.30pm at the Wanneroo Council Chambers, 23 Dundebar Road.

The second workshop will be at Yanchep Community Centre, 7 Lagoon Drive from 10am to noon on August 31.
