YANCHEP National Park will be sent back in time next month for the City of Wanneroo’s Retro Rewind event headlined by one of Perth’s premier party bands, Proof.

The free family event on Saturday, March 10 will showcase all things retro including music, entertainment, fashion and vintage hot rods.

Proof is a 10-piece band which has supported some of Australia’s biggest names such as Guy Sebastian, Ruby Rose, DJ Havana Brown, Psuedo Echo, Hunters and Collectors and Daryl Braithwaite.

Having also performed with international superstar Chris Isaak, Proof will get the Retro Rewind dance floor pumping by playing musical hits from the days of old.

Supporting acts include Amanda Dee and Soothe, and ‘50s style rock’n’roll band Bang Bang Betty and the H-Bombs.

There will also be vintage collective markets with more than 60 stalls, a vintage hot rod display and a vintage fashion parade.

Free children’s activities include classic arcade games, vintage lawn games, a bouncy castle and face painting.

Young and old will be able to join in swing dance workshops and get dressed up to have photos taken in the vintage photo booth.

Retro Rewind runs from 1-5pm with Yanchep National Park entry fees waived from noon onwards.

The Park’s normal daily tour program will still be available, fees apply.
