CLARKSON Police have charged a Clarkson man (53) with going armed in public to cause terror following an investigation into an incident in Subiaco last October.
About 10.15am on October 6, a man driving on Railway Road near the Roberts Road intersection saw the accused allegedly using a mobile phone while driving. The victim waved his finger at the driver, indicating he shouldn’t be on his phone, police said. It will be alleged the driver got out of his vehicle and armed with a pole, hit the victim’s car several times before driving off.
The Clarkson man is due to appear in Perth Magistrate’s Court on March 30.
