Past and present members of the Quinns Mindarie Surf Life Saving Club marked their 30th anniversary with a disco at the club in Mindarie on Saturday.

Vice-president Karen Gollan said the social event had a ‘back to the 80s’ theme and the club was planning a formal celebration at its award night in May.

Founded in the summer of 1982-83 as the Quinns Rocks Surf Life Saving Club, it was also known as the Mindarie Quinns Surf Life Saving Club before settling on its current name.
