Coast playground opens in Jindalee

Developer Satterley Property Group (SPG) recently opened the $300,000 playground on Reflection Boulevard in Eden Beach estate.

It includes interactive play equipment such as a nest swing, slides, forts, flying foxes and balance beams, plus shade structures.

SPG chief executive Nigel Satterley said the playground reflected the coastal surrounds with sculptural elements to mimic the ocean’s surface via colours and bubble cut-outs.

“We wanted to create a space that captured the essence of the estate, while also giving both children and parents everything they need for a fun day out,” he said.

There is a large sheltered area for parents to sit in the shade while watching their children.

Mr Satterley said it also has universally accessible picnic tables, outdoor sofa settings and barbecue facilities.

Works recently started on another $682,000 playground near the foreshore, expected to be finished by May next year.
