Principal Janice Sander said the hall was a fantastic facility and the icing on the cake for the college.
‘Our college is 11 years old and hasn’t had a sports hall in this time so it is really great for students to have this opportunity,’ Ms Sander said.
Ms Sander said the two-year project, funded by the State Government, was completed on time and within the $5 million budget.

‘Our phys-ed teacher also put up a rock-climbing wall in the school holidays.’
Ms Sander said the space would eventually be open to the community.
‘The idea was to share it,’ she said.
‘It’s got all the requirements for community use.’
