Council endorses parking restriction plans

Councillors approved installation of several ‘no stopping on road or nature strip’ signs at 15 spots around the school at their April 30 meeting.

A report said the City has received several requests from nearby residents for the restrictions, which were supported by parking compliance officers.

‘Parents have been observed parking on the road, footpath and nature strip on and around the school, creating an obstruction to safe sight distances and generating safety issues for children,’ it said.
