Cracking good advice for tradies

Greg Borman visited the Masters Home Improvement construction site last Thursday, August 29 to give Perkins Builders workers healthy tips, and answer questions about health and safety on the job.

The Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and Steel Blue created the initiative this year, aiming to change tradies’ behaviour, according to Steel Blue general manager Ross Fitzgerald.

‘Too many tradies are injured on site every day ” 80 per cent of injured workers in Australia are tradies and labourers,’ he said.

‘We have been working closely with the APA to encourage a behaviour change amongst tradies, to make them more aware about the importance of health and safety, at work and home.’
