The eSmart Libraries program has been developed by Telstra and The Alannah and Madeline Foundation to provide resources to help promote safe and responsible use of technology by library users.
Wanneroo Library was one of 100 selected to pilot the program, which will be rolled out to 1500 public libraries around Australia over the next six years.
Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts said internet access was one of the most common services used by the City’s 73,000 library members.
