A STUNNING image of a Carabooda lime kiln has been recognised in the City of Wanneroo’s annual photography competition.
The competition ran via Instagram the first time and received nearly 1000 entries, with people using the DiscoverWanneroo2017 hashtag to upload images that were unique to the City.
Danny O’Loghlen, of Butler, won the open category for his lime kiln photo, while Duncraig 15-year-old Georgia Russell’s image of a girl walking along the beach at sunset was judged the best youth entry and Mayor Tracey Roberts awarded Mindarie’s Benn Tudor the Mayor’s Choice for his beautiful ocean photo.
