Four secondary students from Yanchep District High School went to Ashdale Primary School on August 11 for a Naidoc presentation to years 2 and 3.

YDHS Aboriginal Islander education officer Judith Birchall said they took artefacts and bush items, with the older students sharing the uses of each.

Ashdale teacher Karen Prosser said the Naidoc activities included exploring the Noongar language, "Walking with the seasons in Kakadu", Dreamtime and communicating through desert art.
