EAST Butler Primary School students took a break from regular classroom activities on October 19 to go on a trip ‘around the world in one day’.

Nicknamed iBelong Day, it involved more than 500 students and staff singing and chanting to African beats.

Students then rotated around the school to visit different ‘continents’ and engage in cultural activities such as Aboriginal face painting, Indian Henna skin drawings, Scottish Highland games, African drumming workshops, Samba dancing, cheerleading and Braziliam jujitsu.

The day celebrated multiculturalism, belonging, tolerance and acceptance.
