A FREE fitness program in Eglinton has resumed for the new year to help residents achieve their weight-loss goals .

The outdoor program at Stockland’s Amberton estate is co-ordinated by Live Life Get Active and runs throughout the school term, offering weekday training sessions plus health and nutrition advice.

Since the program’s launch, the Live Life Get Active sessions have helped 269 locals shed a combined 200kg and 174cm of waistline with free outdoor boxing, cross training and yoga sessions.

Sessions run from 9.15 to 10am on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays and from 6.30 to 7.15am on Wednesdays and Thursdays at The Parkland, located on the corner of Cinnabar Drive and Ochre Street.
