Even Keel starts bipolar support group in Merriwa

A SUPPORT group for people with bipolar and related conditions will open a service in Merriwa next month.

Even Keel, in partnership with Soroptimist International of Joondalup, will start a self-help support group in Merriwa, servicing people from Wanneroo to Yanchep.

Even Keel supports a network of groups, led by a caring and empathetic facilitator, in the metropolitan area for those suffering from bipolar, depression, anxiety and related conditions.

Participants will explore the challenges and experience new ways in providing a better understanding of their illness and allowing them to gain more control over their lives.

Group sessions at Merriwa Hub, 21 Lansdowne Way, Merriwa will begin on July 1 from 10.30am.

Sessions already run at Joondalup Library, 102 Boas Avenue on the first and third Thursdays from 1pm.
