Event recognises community stalwart

The event was also a thank-you for Sergeant Bob O’Sullivan, who is retiring as officer-in-charge of the North-West Metro crime prevention team.

He received a crystal trophy from the district’s Neighbourhood Watch board.

Representatives of other NW areas, Clarkson police station and Safety House were among about 50 guests to socialise over a sausage sizzle and Christmas cake.

Neighbourhood Watch needs more street representatives district-wide.
